Mizzou basketball non-conference single-game tickets on sale

riggertMizzouMizzou Athletics announced that single-game tickets for non-conference home dates, excluding the Dec. 7 meeting vs. UCLA, go on sale Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Exhibition tickets start at just $5 and non-conference seats start at just $10. Tickets go on sale Thursday night online at mutigers.com/buytickets and then are available Friday morning by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri) or at the Mizzou Arena ticket window.

Missouri Basketball has an outstanding slate of home games, including contests against Southern Illinois (Nov. 12), West Virginia (Dec. 5), Western Michigan (Dec. 15) and Long Beach State (Jan. 4).

Information on single-game seats for the Dec. 7 contest against UCLA and single-game opportunities for the Southeastern Conference schedule featuring games against Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt will be announced at a later date.

Season tickets for the entire men’s basketball season also remain available via the request list and are the only way to guarantee seats to highly anticipated games against UCLA (Dec. 7), Kentucky (Feb. 1), Arkansas (Feb. 13) and Tennessee (Feb. 15). Fans can sign up for the request list at mutigers.com/buytickets.

The 2013-14 Tigers will be led by a strong nucleus on the perimeter highlighted by preseason All-SEC pick Jabari Brown (13.7 ppg) and the SEC’s top bench scorer from a year ago, Earnest Ross (10.3 ppg). Head Coach Frank Haith’s club also welcomes in a nationally-ranked recruiting class and adds the services of transfer, Jordan Clarkson, who was recently named to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List for college basketball’s top point guard.

The 2013-14 season gets underway Friday (Oct. 25) with the exhibition opener at Hearnes Center vs. Oklahoma City University. The game begins at 7 p.m. and Mizzou Athletics will honor the 1994 Big Eight Championship squad (14-0) led by Hall of Famer Norm Stewart and All-American Melvin Booker. Doors to Hearnes Center open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets and parking are free. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m. as the festivities begin.
