Helen E. Sisk
1944-2013

Helen Elizabeth (Bethel) Sisk, 69, of St. Joseph, went to be with her maker October 24, 2013 at her home.

Helen was born July 9, 1944 to John and Florabell (Green) Bethel in St. Joseph. She graduated Benton High School in 1964. On April 2, 1965 she married the love of her life Claude H. Sisk, and that union brought three children, Penny, Claude, and Candy Mae. Helen was a homemaker for forty-seven years, which during that time she also worked at Poe’s Candy Company.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Charles Bethel.

She leaves behind her husband Claude H. Sisk; children, Penny Sue Waldrop and husband Michael, Claude F. Sisk and wife Rhonda and two boys, Kevin and C.J., and Candy Mae Weiser and her son Trez; sisters Florence and husband Mark McClanahan, Fanny and husband, Jerry Bottoroff, and Erma McIntosh; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Mrs. Sisk has been cremated under direction of Clark-Sampson Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2 at The Wellington Pointe Community Room.
