Former Missouri Police chief under investigation

The Missouri attorney general’s office says its investigating the conduct of Perryville’s former chief of police.Missouri-Attorney-General logo

Nanci Gonder, a spokeswoman for Attorney General Chris Koster, says Judge Michael Bullerdieck issued an order Sept. 26 appointing Koster’s office to look into allegations against Keith Tarrillion.

 Tarrillion resigned as Perryville’s police chief in March after being accused of conduct “inconsistent with his official character and duty.” He had been chief since 2002.

Perryville’s city attorney also is asking a judge if the city can make public an investigative report into Tarillion’s conduct that a judge initially ordered sealed.
