Bernice Maxine Schubert 77, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center. She was born December 17, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO. She worked at Whitaker Cable for 20 years then at Jeri Ann Cafeteria as a cook retiring after many years. She was enjoyed being active in the Recreational Club for Special Citizens, and the Special Olympics, she was also a member of the IBEW and loved camping, crocheting and cooking, She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Bernice was preceded in death by husband, Robert “Dutch” Schubert, her mother Virgie Jonas, and father John A. Reital, a daughter Elizabeth Rose Schubert, a brother, Robert “Bob” Reital, and a sister, Rosezella Standish. Survivors include, son, Robert Dale Schubert of the home, four, step-grandchildren, and several great step grandchildren, a brother, Everett Jonas Sr. and wife Joyce of the home, a brother, Roger Reital Sr. a sister, Sharon Allday all of St. Joseph, MO as well as several, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolence and obituary at www.ruppfuneral.com.
