Roger “Buck” Robertson 63, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 in St. Joseph, Mo. He was born April 12, 1950 in Fillmore, Mo, son of Della and William Robertson. He served in the Marines and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked at local businesses in the St. Joseph area as a Teamster Truck Driver & was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed deer hunting, and was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge. “Buck” was preceded in death by his parents, Della & William. Survivors include, three sons, Buck, Jermiah, & Josh Robertson all of Savannah, three sisters, Carol Wolf, Springfield, Mo, Debbie Robertson, Nixa, Mo, & Marie Robertson, four brothers, Donnie Robertson of St. Joseph, David “Leroy” and Larry both of Savannah, Mo, and his twin brother Ronnie of Texas, one Granddaughter, Makaylee Robertson, two Grandsons, William and Hunter Robertson, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 am to 4 pm, Sunday November 3, 2013, at the Eagle’s Lodge in St. Joseph, Mo. The inurnment will be at the Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
