Charges have been filed against a truck driver involved in an accident near Waldron on Tuesday that claimed one life and sent two people to the hospital.
Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Adam Shaw, crossed the center line along Route 45 at about 8:30am Tuesday, hitting a pickup truck and then a minivan.
The woman driving the minivan, Catherine Nienaber of Kansas City, Kansas, was killed. Her seven-year-old son was seriously injured. The driver of the pickup went to a hospital with minor injuries.
