A Record Drenching In Saint Joseph

Thunderstorm genericRecord rainfall drenched Saint Joseph on Wednesday. The official reading for the day was 2.53 inches, the most ever for October 30.

With .53 of an inch on Tuesday, Saint Joseph added more than three inches of moisture in just two days. We recorded 5.34 inches of rain for the month through Wednesday, almost double the normal amount.

Forecasters expect the rain to end early Thursday afternoon.
