St Joe police say a gun was found in a local storm drain, and they’re hoping you can help them find out how and why it wound up there.

A handgun was found by city workers on Wednesday morning. The firearm was in the storm drain located on northwest corner of the intersection at 11th and Green.

The weapon has been turned over to the St. Joseph Police Department.
