George Robert Miller 81, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday October 31, 2013. He was born November 9, 1931 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Esther & James Miller. He married Beverly Childers Miller on August 17, 1968 and she survives of the home. He graduated from Benton high school class of 1949. He then served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Patapsco. He retired from Armour & Co. as a Loin Butcher after 30 years of service. He enjoyed going to Casino White Cloud also fishing, mushroom hunting, duck and goose hunting, gardening and rose gardening, but most of all he was dedicated to his family and wife Beverly. George was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Raylane Miller, and a brother, Leroy Miller. He is survived by wife, Beverly Miller of the home. three children Jeff Miller, Jamie Miller and Gregg Miller. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home following the visitation service.
