Janice Ann Brown 63, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday November 2, 2013 at a Saint Joseph health care ceneter. She was born April 18, 1950 in Hannibal, Missouri daughter of Geneva “Jean” & Wiley Chandler. She was a high school graduate, and a homemaker. Janice was a member of Faubion Methodist Church of Gladstone, MO. and enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Brown, and her father, Wiley Chandler. She is survived by mother, Geneva “Jean and her husband Victor “Vic” Straub, a son, Jeffrey Williams and daughter, Wendy Williams, a step son, Dewey Brown, daughter in law, Crystal Williams, six grandchildren, Chassity, Alexis, Miranda, Secelie, Kaylin, and Brendon, and a great grandchild, Ayden, as well as several brothers and sisters. Friends may call after 10 AM Wednesday, at the Rupp Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home following the visitation services. Memorials are requested to the Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers.
