Hy-Vee is celebrating Veterans Day by offering a free breakfast to all veterans and active-duty military members.   Company-wide, Hy-Vee expects to serve more than 70,000 veterans and their guests this year at more than 200 Hy-Vee stores in eight states.

 

Brad McAnally, store director, said the free breakfast buffet on Monday, November 11 is the company’s way of thanking veterans and military members for their service to the country.

The Veterans Day Breakfast is a part of Hy-Vee Homefront, an ongoing initiative to raise awareness of and support for organizations serving our nation’s military members, veterans and their families. From November 6th through the 16th, HyVee stores will be conducting a Round Up For the Homefront campaign, with customers invited to “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar.

Hy-Vee will match customer contributions up to $100,000, with all proceeds benefiting organizations that assist veterans.
