Officials say deputies stopped a vehicle on I-435 near NW Cookingham Road on Wednesday evening.
The officers recovered approximately 55 pounds of marijuana from the vehicle and took the driver into custody.
The driver, Thomas D. Graham, 21, of Bomont, West Virginia, was taken into custody. Graham is being held in the Platte County Detention Center under $25,000 bond on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.
