If you are considering applying to run for a seat on one of the five grain commodity commissions, ballots are due to the Kansas Department of Agriculture no later than Nov. 30.
Candidates must have been actively engaged in growing corn, grain sorghum, soybeans, wheat or sunflowers and must gather 20 signatures from eligible voters to be eligible for the 2014 ballot.
