Kelley Diane Bishop

Kelley Diane Bishop, 49, St. Joseph, Missouri, formerly of Austin, Texas, died Wednesday, November 10, 2013 at her home.
She was born May 3, 1964 to E. Terry and Berniece (Johnson) Bishop in Kansas City, Missouri.
She worked as a CNA at Heartland Regional Medical Center and Saxton’s Nursing Home. She loved her job working with the elderly, especially the Alzheimer’s patients whom she referred to as her “gems”. She consistently donated items to various charities.
Kelley also enjoyed cooking, music, dancing and was an animal lover, but most of all she loved being a mother.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors: daughter, Nina Bishop, Galveston, Texas; granddaughter, Nora Drake; brother, Dennis Bishop, Houston, Texas; sisters, Jacqueline Bishop (Herbert Halpern), New Orleans, Louisiana, and Lorelei Becktell (Robert), Houston, Texas; mother, Berniece Bishop; nieces and nephews, Megan, Dane, Cole, Hannah, Madison, and Mason; great niece, Kylie; and her beloved Dog, Bella.
