Caleb Dean Adwell, age 15, Ravenwood, Missouri died on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at his home, after a two and a half month battle with a rare brain cancer.

Caleb was born September 22, 1998 in Maryville, Missouri the son of Shane Dean and Jennifer Marie (Goedken) Adwell.

A student at Northeast Nodaway R-V, Ravenwood, Caleb would have been a freshman in the class of 2017.

Caleb was a member of Ravenwood Christian Church and very active with the church’s youth group. He was also a member of the NEN 4-H Club.

His survivors include his parents Shane and Jennifer, sister, Kerrigan, brother, Ethan and sister Meredith Adwell, all of the home, Ravenwood; maternal grandparents, Martin (Lisa) Goedken, Conception Junction, Missouri; maternal great grandparents, John (Phyllis) Birzer, Ottawa, Kansas; paternal grandparents, Dean (Omi) Adwell, Ravenwood; paternal great grandfather Hiromi Fujimura, Pearl City, Hawaii; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Northeast Nodaway R-V Gymnasium, Ravenwood. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Ravenwood Christian Church in Ravenwood.
