Lois J. Beutler
1926-2013

Lois Jean Beutler, 86, of St. Joseph passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Beutler was born November 21, 1926 to Oscar and Minnie (Oesterly) Beutler in California, Mo.

She later moved to St. Joseph where she graduated from Benton High School and attended Northwest Missouri State College in Maryville and University of Iowa earning a Bachelor of Science. She taught at Hall school for 38 years and was a member of St. Joseph Retired Teachers Association, Missouri State Retired Teachers Association, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Life member of NEA. Ms. Beutler was also a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death are her parents and sister, Mary Bridgford.

Survivors include niece, Susan Bridgford of Omaha, Ne; nephew Danny Bridgford of Dayton , Iowa; great niece; great nephew, and friends.

Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at California City Cemetery, California, MO. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon Saturday at Clark-Sampson Funeral Home.
