New lighting on the new Amelia Earhart Bridge provided quite the spectacle last week.

The sight lines were blocked for several weeks by the remanants of the old bridge.

That forced the lighting contractor Capital Electric to wait for the final demolition of the old bridge before they could show off the lighting on the new bi-state gateway.
