A Fillmore, Missouri woman was killed Wednesday morning when she lost control of her vehicle at US-71 and I-29 north of St Joseph.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Robin Thomas, 50, lost control of her Cadillacy because of wet pavement on the exit ramp. The vehicle spun off the highway and into a guard rail at about 6:20am Wednesday.

Thomas was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
