A Pilot Grove, Missouri man was seriously hurt in a crash that shut down I-29 for several hours Thursday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a semi jack-knifed on the icy interstate north of the Craig exit at about 4:15 pm. Thursday.
Two cars and another semi were unable to stop before hitting that first truck.
Driving the second semi was David Hays, 61. Hays was transported to Heartland with serious injuries.
The crash blocked all northbound traffic. Officials were able to open the passing lane by about 7:30 pm.
