(AP) Two people are dead after a speeding vehicle crashed into a tree in west-central Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 22-year-old driver, Saul E. Solis of Kansas City, and an 18-year-old passenger, Joe E. Parks of Champaign, Ill., were pronounced dead at the scene of Saturday’s crash. Another passenger was flown to a Kansas City hospital in serious condition.
The patrol says the accident happened in Warrensburg when Solis lost control of the vehicle as it crested a hill.
