Madeline W. Ison, 73, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at a Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 9, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Needham and Marie (Moyer) Whitley.
Madeline married Jerry L. Ison on November 20, 1964 in El Paso, Texas. He survives the home.
Mrs. Ison was a people greeter at Walmart and a longtime member of the NRA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ronald Whitley, Donald Whitley, and N.J. Whitley.
Also surviving are four daughters, Cheryl Johnson (Walter), Roswell, New Mexico, Twila Davis (Dave), Weatherford, Texas, Madeline J. Arnold, Omaha, Nebraska, and Jerri R. Citty, Roswell, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Mark, Scarlett, Bill Chester, Nathan Charles, and Kiera; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Whitley (Julie), Denver, Colorado, Herman Ray Whitley, Napa, Idaho, Charles Whitley (Edna), Silver City, New Mexico; sister, Lynn Gardner of Roswell, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
