Teri Gatrel, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 18, 1955 to Lawrence and Dolores (Schussler) Drag.
She was employed at Heartland Regional Medical Center for 28 years.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Her children and grandchildren were her passion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda and Sandra Drag; and brother-in-law, Ron Putnam.
Survivors: daughter, Elizabeth Fischer (Kevin); son, Christopher Gatrel (Jennifer); grandchildren, Derrick, Gracie, Anthony, ShayLynn, and Elivia; sisters, Patricia Putnam and Cathy Clinton (Jay); brother, Dennis Drag (Margaret); best friend, Jennifer Houghtaling; and extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 A.M. Friday, St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Parish Rosary 6:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 4:30 P.M. Thursday.
