Irvin Eugene “Gene” Loch

Loch, GeneIrvin Eugene “Gene” Loch, 89 of Maryville, Missouri died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Parkdale Manor in Maryville.

Gene was born February 18, 1924 in Pickering, Missouri, the son of George “Irvin” and Anna (Wray) Loch. He was a 1941 graduate of Maryville High School. On May 4, 1947 he married Marian Elizabeth Nunnelley in Kansas City, Missouri.

Gene was a farmer, livestock commission man for the St Joseph Stockyards and MFA/United Producers in Maryville. He was also a member of the Maryville First United Methodist Church and the Burlington Junction Saddle Club.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a grandson: Cody Alan Loch; brother and sister-in-law: Paul and Lita Loch and two nephews: Wayne Loch and Harold Thomson.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years: Marian Loch, of their home in Maryville; two sons: David (Lisa) Loch, Maryville and Alan (Debbie) Loch, Perkins, Oklahoma; three granddaughters:
Crissi Loch and fiancé, Stockton Graves, Alva, Oklahoma; Laura (Eric) Tilford, Lenexa, Kansas;
Rosey (Aaron) Runde, Ravenwood, Missouri; sister-in-law: Barbara (Bill) Blackman, Sun City, West, Arizona and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10-11 am, Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville with funeral services to follow at 11am with burial in Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
