A traffic accident with injuries blocked all southbound traffic on I-29 just south of Platte City Friday afternoon.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol dispatcher says all traffic is being diverted onto I-435.

The accident was reported at about 1:45 pm. It was cleared a short time later.
