Theft of charity trailer under investigation

Police(AP) Habitat for Humanity officials in Springfield say someone stole a new $5,000 trailer the organization uses during projects to repair and weatherize old homes.
Organization officials say the black, 6-by-10 hydraulic dump trailer was stolen from a gated parking lot sometime between Dec. 13 and 14.
The organization used it to haul debris for its “A Brush with Kindness” program. KYTV-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/1gIvcy1) construction director Mark Murphy says the loss of the trailer will double production time and increase costs.
Habitat officials say police have no leads in the case. A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
