The Livingston County Courthouse closed Tuesday morning and was expected to remain closed at least through Wednesday.

Judge James P. Valbracht announced that all Associate Court for February 05 has been cancelled. If you are a defendant, attorney or other interested person there will not be Court on Wednesday.

The administrative side of the Sheriff’s Office is closing Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

Emergency responders can still be reached via 911.

Sheriff Steve Cox says US-36 highway is particularly dangerous. Cox says passing trucks can cause white out conditions.
