The Platte County Sheriff’s Office released a year-end report that shows an increase in nearly every activity listed. The PCSO responded to 19,229 911 calls and 81,345 non-911 calls.

In December, deputies made 72 arrests for an annual total of 1,257. That compares to 1,032 arrests in 2012 and 52 in December, 2012.

Deputies engaged in 9.309 traffic stops last year, compared to 9,083 the year before.

The department served civil papers in 4,338 cases, compared to 4,215 the year before.
