The St Joseph School District named its two new elementary schools Monday night.

Carden Park Elementary School will be located at 16th and Duncan, and Oak Grove Elementary will be located at Bishop and Cook roads.

Other names considered for the Carden Park School by the school board included Lewis & Clark, Pony Express, Riverview,and River Bluff.

Other names considered for Oak Grove School were Melody A. Smith, Grace Day, Kelsey Beshears, and Northeast.
