A Missouri woman was injured in a Thursday night crash in Clay County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol 22 year old Tyra P. Wons of Independence was driving a 2012 Honda Accord south on I-29 just south of the 2.2 marker. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Wons was transported to North Kansas City Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.
