A Valentine’s Day crash sent two people to the hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol sixty-one year old Larry W. Kirby of Kansas City was driving a 1994 Dodge Stealth southbound on I-435 at milepost 10 in Wyandotte County. For an unknown reason the vehicle slid into the bridge wall and went off the right side of the Interstate.

Kirby and a passenger Mary J. Kirby age 74 of Kansas City were transported to Providence Medical Center. They were wearing seat belts.
