A pursuit by law officers ended when the fleeing driver crashed south of St Joseph Wednesday night. There were no injuries.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the pursuit was initiated by police in Weston.

The stolen vehicle crashed at about 8:50 pm Wednesday at Old Highway Road Southwest and US-59 highway.

Traffic investigators say the driver, 19-year-old T. P. Walker of Kansas City, Kansas, failed to negotiate a turn.

The vehicle ran off the road and rammed into an embankment. The stolen Dodge Grand Caravan was a total loss.
