A child was injured in a Saturday ATV crash in Ray County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred when the 2011 Arctic Cat ATV driven by Zebadiah J. McBee, 8, of Excelsior Springs was traveling on private property at 31255 West 161 Street and crashed into the side of a house.

McBee was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital

The MSHP reported he was not wearing a safety device.
