A father and son were killed in a Randolph County crash on Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville was westbound on Route EE, a half mile west of Moberly. The car ran off the road, struck an embankment, overturned and came to rest on its top in the water.

John Clardy, 31, and his 2 year old son Caeden were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say an autopsy will be performed on the bodies Friday.
