Jefferson City, MO—Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed Janet Rosenauer, of Country Club Village, as the new public administrator for Andrew County. The position became available upon the resignation of the former public administrator, Karen J. Keller.
Rosenauer, a Democrat, is a retired elementary music teacher for several area school districts, including the Savannah R-III School District, and a former mayor of Savannah. She also was a manager for a St. Joseph restaurant for 15 years. Rosenauer earned her degree in music education from Missouri Western State University.
“The position of county public administrator is one that entails a great deal of responsibility and trust, and it is one in which I am confident that Janet Rosenauer will ably serve the citizens of Andrew,” Gov. Nixon said.
