A Monday evening motorcycle vs deer crash in Clay County sent a man to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred as a 2006 Harley Davidson driven by John D. DeJaynes, 56, of Liberty was riding on Route A at 144th Street at 8:30 p.m. when he hit a deer and was ejected. DeJaynes was transported to the hospital in Liberty.
The MSHP reports DeJaynes was wearing a helmet.
