A Trenton man was killed in a crash with a semi early Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 46-year-old Randall Phillips was eastbound on 28th Street in Trenton shortly after 6am Tuesday. According to a crash report, he pulled his pickup into the path of a semi on US-65 highway.
The GMC Sonoma was hit on the passenger side by a Peterbuilt truck driven by Timothy Deeds of Galt, Missouri. Both vehicles continued off the northeast corner of the intersection, coming to rest on their wheels.
Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene. Deeds was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
