St Joseph police conducted a sobriety checkpoint Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The checkpoint was conducted between 10pm Wednesday and 1:30am Thursday in the 4400 block of Faraon.

Officials say officers check 142 cars. They made four arrests for DWI. There were three arrests for outstanding warrants.

Traffic Division Officer Wayne Byrom says there was one citation issued for possession of a controlled substance and thirty other citations for other violations.
