He might be a nuissance. He might even be crazy. But, so far at least, he hasn’t broken any laws. In fact the Livingston County Sheriff says he is “exercising his Constitutional right to freedom of speech.”
Sheriff Steve Cox says they’ve received several calls about the man in Chillicothe, who drives “an unusual looking vehicle,” and “likes to quickly shove cameras and voice recorders in the faces of citizens and law enforcement.” Cox says the subject is reported to have a history of placing the videos and information on the Internet.
The Sheriff says he seems to be trying to provoke local authorities. He’s been spotted at area churches and public buildings, and may have been trying to solicit money.
Cox says the individual claims to be a former CIA Double Agent.
Cox also points out that the individual has not done anything to warrant his arrest.
He says businesses, churches, civic groups and citizens in the area should be mindful of unusual activities and report violations of the law regardless who the violator may be.
