The Apple Blossom Parade celebrates its 90th anniversary next month. On Saturday, pageant organizers selected royalty for the parade.

About three dozen girls took part in the pageant at the Missouri Theater Saturday.

Ellie Wattenbarger, 9, was named Apple Blossom Princess. Jessica Janorschke, 13, was named Junior Queen, and 18-year-old marissa Herring was named Apple Blossom Queen.

The winners get cash, a crown, and flowers. They will also appear in the Apple Blossom Parade May 3rd.
