We spotted a lot of stations adding twenty cents to their price for a gallon of gasoline Wednesday.

Prices ranged from $3.29 to $3.45 per gallon Thursday morning. The market average was $3.36 per gallon, up more than a nickel from last week.

AAA pegs the national average at $3.61.

That’s up a penny on the day and more than a nickel higher than a week ago.

The average across Missouri is $3.429, up a cent and a half on the day and more than six cents higher than a month ago.
