LEES SUMMIT–Robert P. Norman, 56, Kingsvile died in a three-car, rear end accident on Wednesday in Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on Highway 7 just north of Short Road.
Norman, in a 2007 Toyota was stopped in traffic and was rear-ended by a 2011 Chevy driven by Amber D. Ralston, 28, Pleasant Hill. The Toyota left the roadway. The Chevy also hit a 2009 Chevy driven by Matthew P. Six, 45, Pleasant Hill. He was not seriously injured.
Norman was pronounced dead at the scene. Ralston was transported to Lees Summit Medical Center.
The MSHP reported Norman was wearing a seat belt and Ralston was not.
