Expect more delays along Frederick Avenue in the months ahead as a sidewalk improvement project continues. Contractors began the process Monday of installing sidewalks on both sides of the highway between Woodbine and the Belt. The work at times closes one lane in each direction.

MODOT says all sidewalk work should be completed by August 1, weather permitting. Some roadside work could continue after that.
