The sidewalk improvement project along Frederick Avenue will disrupt signal lights at the city’s busiest intersection Monday night. MODOT will take the signals at Belt and Frederick offline at 9 pm. Work to the signals could take several hours.
Motorists will be guided through the intersection by traffic channelizers and stop signs. There will be one driving lane and one turn lane open in each direction. Motorists should treat the intersection like a four-way stop, with one direction proceeding through the intersection at a time.
