The Missouri Senate confirmed David Liechti’s nomination to the Missouri Western State University Board of Governors. Liechti is a managing member of the CPA firm Liechti & Franken LLC with a long record of civic service.

He served for eight years as a member of the Missouri State Board of Education. Liechti has served on several St. Joseph-area boards, including Heartland Regional Medical Center, the St. Joseph Board of Education, and the St. Joseph Area Chamber of Commerce.

He will be sworn in at the May 22 board meeting.
