The latest survey from the Community Alliance of Saint Joseph arrives in the mail Tuesday and Wednesday. Alliance director Steve Johnston says he hopes for another strong response from city and county residents.
This is the third of these surveys that started in 2010 and are taken every other year. Johnston says the results make a difference. They led to development and passage of the public safety tax and changes in the CIP program to put more money into streets. ETC Institute of Olathe sent 1800 copies to computer-selected addresses representing all parts of Saint Joseph and Buchanan County.
Results of this new survey should be available in late June.
