KANSAS CITY- A two-car crash in Wyandotte County sent one man to the hospital just before noon on Saturday.

Vehicles were northbound on U.S. 73 just north of Parallel Parkway. Traffic ahead had slowed abruptly. A 2001 Ford truck driven by Alejandro Sanchez-Jasso, 30, Kansas City did not slow down quickly enough and swerved to the left. The truck struck a 2004 Jeep SUV driven by Brandon Terrell Standley, 30, Junction City. The truck over turned.

Standley was transported to KU Medical Center. The KHP reported Sanchez-Jasso and a passenger in the Jeep Kassie Vincent, 31, Independence, Mo., were possibly injured but did not indicate where they were treated.
