KANSAS CITY–The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Mazda driven by Stephanie A. Livingston, Edgerton, was southbound on I-35 just north of Antioch following a white van.
The van slammed on its brakes and the Mazda made an avoidance maneuver to go around the van and was struck by a 2001 Saturn. A 2007 Honda CrV then struck the Saturn.
Livingston was transported to KU Medical Center. The driver of the Saturn Lyndsay Colleen Nobel, Modesto, CA., was transported to Shawnee Mission Medical Center. There were no other injuries.

The KHP reported all participants were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
