OVERLAND PARK—A Kansas semi-truck driver was injured in a Friday morning crash in Johnson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Kenworth semi-truck driven by Robert J. Milkey, 25, Lawrence, was southbound on U.S. 69 in right lane.
The front passenger side tire of the truck blew out, causing the driver to lose control.
The truck left the roadway and struck a guard-rail. After impact, the truck went down an embankment and overturned.
Milkey was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
