A Monday afternoon tractor accident in Andrew County sent one person to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1994 John Deere 7200 tractor towing a trailer with an attached planter driven by Douglas W. Davis, 51, Fillmore, was traveling southbound on Route H just south of Route Y.

The trailer traveled into the opposing lane. A northbound John Deere 4630 driven by Patricia A. Wortman, 57, Rosendale, met the other tractor at the crest of a hill and struck the trailer.

The 4630 then traveled across the center line and struck a southbound Chevy Silverado driven by Andrew L. Davis, 19, Fillmore. The impact pushed the Silverado off the west side of the road partially blocking he southbound lane of traffic.

Andrew Davis was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center. The KHP reported Wortman left the scene with a third party. Douglas Davis was not injured.
