OVERLAND PARK–A Kansas man was injured in a Tuesday morning rollover accident in Johnson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford pickup driven by
Richard T. Compton, Jr., 32, Louisburg, was northbound on U.S. 69 just south of 199th street and went off the inside shoulder.

The driver overcorrected and the vehicle overturned in the east ditch, rolling twice.

Compton was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
